It's definitely David Tennant. He and his wife were separated (reported in Popbitch and loads of gossip about it), and he spent most of last year and about half of this year living in North America shooting, while she stayed in London. Georgia Moffett is currently pregnant (looks about six months gone from recent pics).

So this puts him farther from his goals. Which included leaving Millie for the woman he REALLY loves. One might feel sympathy if it wasn't such a boner CHOICE on his part.
So he likely thinks the only choice left for him is to stay with Millie. That's the CHOICE of a weak, scared rabbit. Or he could leave Millie, provide her and their children financial support, take the incoming backlash and begin to live an authentic life. Not one which is scripted by PR and documented by DM in silly outings around London looking miserable with a wife you loathe.

Not sure who this is about, but a baby never fixes a bad marriage and I wish couples would realize this. If there are problems having a baby isn't going to help those problems go away. I don't know why woman think if they get pregnant it will keep the man around.
My father-in-law left his wife after 4 children for my mother-in-law. After good-by sex his first wife got pregnant with a 5th. Didn't phase him. He and my mother-in-law got quickie divorces in Reno and had three more kids together. Their first was one month younger than #5 with his ex. This happened in the late 60's. Not condoning or judging. My father-in-law was an interesting character. His grandchildren adored him. None of this is unusual or surprising or horrible. He supported all his children financially. If this is true, I think the time has come for the producers to seriously consider sacking his untalented, unprofessional, prima-donna ass and get a REAL actor to replace him!, One, who is not only talented and professional, but also genuinely committed to the project. This long, drawn out drama, involving his personal life, being constantly paraded in the media, is beginning to turn some FSOG fans off. Including me. Considering how long it has already taken them to start filming the sequel; if they keep on procrastinating, at this rate, the additional delays will only result in a loss of momentum, and consequently, a lack of interest, by the time the other two movies are released. Also, if this report proves credible, has he also requested a delay for shooting The Fall, or is this limited solely to FSD?
Granted, unplanned pregnancies do occur, but it does make one wonder, whether he and his wife got pregnant, to use it as a stalling tactic, since it is widely reported that they both regret his involvement in the franchise. While I do think that Dornan and the wife regret his decision to do this movie (it was plainly obvious at the premieres and in all interviews, I mean if the wife gave the stink eye any more on the red carpet, her eyeballs would have rolled out of her eyes), I also think the delays have to do with the new script. I mean I felt the first one was a little to tame and artsy. Sam did a good job, but there could have been a little "more". But with that said I think EL James wanted to film a porn. So there needs to be a good balance in the next two. As for Dornan, I don't feel bad. They new what it was about and now that he filmed the first, I think he regrets it. It was plainly obvious in all his interviews. It's good to know that I am not the only one who feels this way. Thanks to @seriously, who replied to my rant, the other day (Oct. 29), I decided to have some fun with the couple's regular and predictable DM appearances, by writing my imaginary take on the whole soap opera they have managed to create, with their various 'unintentionally-captured' outings. :)
It took the form of a satirical parody, and in my attempt to cover everything, it ended up being so extensive, that I dare not post it here. Why would universal care if Jamie and his wife are still together? If they were separated, the movie would generate more buzz because people would assume him and Dakota were hooking up.
While studios want "buzz" they don't want events to negatively motivate fans and stagnate ticket sales. So while some may come to see what the fuss is all about. Others may stay away because they find it off-putting. One assumes the studio has done its research. And believes its a net loss to grosses. Then again. Who knows with these idiots.
The choice of FSD director is interesting. Studio is looking to attract more men this time around. And at the same time not lose its female FSOG fanbase. But movie market economics is increasingly unstable. Hollywood is having trouble selling established star vehicles. Much less relative unknowns in sequels which appeal to a narrow demographic (women over 40) with limited marketing value. They can only sell so many floggers and chocolates before its saturated.
