Blind Items Revealed #1

February 1, 2014

This B list singer/celebrity who has the ability to be A+ depending on who she is with, wants a $1-2M wedding. Her boyfriend said that's great. He refuses to pay for any of it though except a honeymoon and says if she wants that big of a wedding she will have to pay for it. Now her budget has been reduced to $100K.

I guess I think expecting the groom to pay for the wedding when he's paying for the honeymoon is a little bitchy & entitled. I'm sure I'll be educated about precisely how wrong I am and why.
Or, you know, she could skip the honeymoon.

Kelly net worth is 20 million this year.. Guess she didn't splash out for a biggie wedding with Tim..

“Kelly on Tim: He asked me first [to marry him] on Skype. And I was like, ‘We’re so far away from each other.’ It was so late, I remember we were both just kinda like, honestly, just staring at each other,” Kelly explained. “And he asked me, and it was just that simple to say yes. I was like, ‘I got my best friend to ride through life with.’ He really is my best friend.”

Bio:
Tim Witherspoon is the manager and husband of Destiny’s Child singer, Kelly Rowland. Tim is not to be confused with retired heavyweight boxer Tim Witherspoon, and no, he is not related to Academy Award winning actress Reese Witherspoon.

Personal Life:
Tim and Kelly confirmed that they were engaged to be married on Dec. 5, 2013, and the singer later revealed that her manager beau had proposed to her via Skype. In May 2014 the couple wed in Costa Rica, and on Nov. 4, 2014 they welcomed their first child together, a son, Titan Jewell Witherspoon.

You're not wrong, @Kno. A lot of couples do their own thing these days but the bride's family paying for the wedding is the the standard way of doing it.

If it costs $1-2MM to marry her just guess what it will cost to maintain her on a week to week basis. Unless she is marrying Bill Gates my advice to the groom-to-be would be RUN.

Of my married friends, their families helped what they could, but really they paid for it together themselves, both the wedding & honeymoon.

I guess what I don't get is the refusal to pay for any of it...like how about...my budget all in is 50k...if you want to make up the rest feel free...
