These two former tweener actresses turned business partners refuse to answer any questions from any reporter about anything other than their business. They make it clear they will walk out of any other interview. Therefore, they have not received any requests during what should be a very busy time for them.

I disagree. Why would they respond to questions about an ongoing lawsuit? Also, why should they take questions about a Full House reunion when they've been spent the last nearly 10 years establishing their fashion lines?

It's called crappy journalism, as the only reason to push either line of questioning is for sensationalism and for the celebrity angle, neither of which bears much relevancy to the collection they're unveiling for Paris Fashion Week.

Can't say I blame them. This day and age when "journalists" are known for twisting words from an interview, why bother. And, I don't know how their line is doing, but doubt their bank accounts are hurting from not getting interviews.
I have no shade for these two. They're not falling out of clubs with their underwear showing or photos leaked of them doing coke. Not to say they don't get trashy, but they do it behind closed doors.

Well, there was that minor incident where Mary Kate was intertwined with Heath Ledger's overdose. That was front and center for a while.

I diagree. It's actually crappy marketing on the twins' part. If they care to get word of their line out, it's only sensible to give a little to get a little.

The spoiled, "My way or the highway" pair naturally cannot discuss matters under litigation, though they could and should talk about "Full House", because to most viewers it was a positive experience in which they fondly recall the twins, who have since grown up, and are showing their fashion at Fashion Week in Paris; a much more positive light about their endeavors than laying down limitations and expecting the press to agree to give them something for nothing. Why should they agree? So they may plug a line of clothes, give them free ads, for a pair of demanding adult brats? No one worth anything would agree. Give honey instead of vinegar.

Full House has nothing to do with creating a long term, strategic, top shelf fashion brand, especially after 10 years of time have passed. Now, if this was in relation to their "Olsen Twins" licensing program, yes, absolutely. However, it's no longer valid. Look at someone like Ron Howard, although not in fashion, his work now stands on its own, he is not simply Opie or, for that matter, Richie.

Check out this WSJ article wherein retailers specifically cite that they were not interested in a celebrity driven line, a la Jessica Simpson, however, The Row was high design and fashion driven. There was no want of Full House.
