The head of this record label was introduced to this two hit wonder now and asked in front of the singer to the A&R person if there was anything that could be done about the hair color or outfit or weight of the singer. Just went on and on. The A&R person was really embarrassed and the singer just walked away.

Good for whoever it is. If she's had a hit and made this a$$hole money he shouldn't care about her hair, outfit or weight.
I dont think its Meghan, she already has a deal, is going to launch her second album, her first went platinum and she had mutiple hits and a grammy. Currently number 2 on itunes charts.... this sounds like someone yet about to break.

Maybe the now signifies the second hit is very recent.
LA Reid gave MT a recording deal after she already had some songwriting credits. He just threw her a surprise party so I guess this is supposed to be her but I call BS on it.
