Apparently this foreign born actress who was in that Dr. thing had bunches of extra passes she somehow acquired for Comic Con and passed them out to anyone who recognized her. It was not the most extravagant gesture of all time but it was probably 30-40 passes and they were $55 each. Oh, and sold out so even more special.

I'm sure there were plenty of cosplayers around who knew exactly who she was. This was a nice thing to do. That'a a couple of thousand worth of tickets.

Always there has to be some a-hole who has to shit all over a nice gesture.
Absolute doll. Along with Matt Smith, Arthur Darvill, Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman, never going to read anything bad about them. All of them absolute class and feet completely on the ground. Billie Piper, David Tennant and Chris Eccleston have their fair share of marital woe and infidelity gossip but at least keep it pretty private. It helps that paps have generally laid off them even when they have seen stuff, although they gave Tennant a fair bit of side eye after the latest set of infidelity allegations last year and over Piper's recent post divorce hookup. The Who crew overall though are as squeaky clean as it gets.
I love Karen so much. Gorgeous, talented, and a total sweetheart.

I think Karen has a bit of a wild side, but lovely girl. Tennant appears to be the only sleazy one from the show if the persistent rumours about him cheating on his spouse when working away from home are true. Something not quite right about that relationship.
I ran into her at a hotel in Reno Nevada. I didn't know there was a "wizard con" next door. We were in the gold card room, and there she was. I just kind of looked at her, like ...I know you...how do I know you...oh my god AMY POND. She laughed her ass off at me and gave me tickets. She's a doll.
