This B+ list actress with an alliteration for her name was slumped over at a hotel bar from drinking too much. So, as not to get her or the bar in trouble, the manager and bartender carried her out to the lobby and a chair there where she continued to be slumped over for a good hour before finally rousing herself.

Yes it does. Someone slumped and drunk in the lobby could have gotten in that condition elsewhere. Putting her in the back.booth of the bar makes the bar look guilty.
