This back in the day A list mostly television actress who was on a comic-con favorite just ended a run on a pay cable thing. She says she doesn't date very much any longer because an ex she dated for quite a while gave her the gift that keeps on giving. Apparently never told her until after the fact.

Sounds like someone from Buffy the VS but can't find someone who fits. Minka Kelley and Derek Jeter? She just finished a run on The Path but that's Hulu I think?

Was only really A list to geeks and nerds at the time though,... according to my computer-addicted SO, so back to the drawing board.
Eliza Dushku? She was on BvS and DollHouse and seemed to have a new TV show when the last ended (TruCalling and one other). She just finished Banshee which is cable (Cinemax). And she dated that basketball player for quite a while
Oh and she was just at DragonCon which is where the rumor could have come from. Celebs at DragonCon have handlers from the Con that follow them around all day. My S.O. did it a couple years and said that celebs tend to get really chatty by the end of the weekend

Yowza. VW and he were married about 5 years and before that someone named Ramon Hervey. She is remarried again now--hopefully 3s a charm?
