For years I have written about the boozing of this Academy Award winner/ Apparently she has six months of sobriety going for her right now. Good for her. At this point she was more known for her drinking than the win no one is sure was a win.

That has been a long standing rumor but what do you know to be true?? I am curious to know what the real story is behind that? Did Jack Palance really screw up?
She was so gorgeous back in the day.
I remember while watching that night thinking: how drunk Jack Palance was; and how disorderly he acted the entire evening when Marisa won Best Supporting Actress.
Whether or not you believe she earned that Oscar or not, if the academy didn't correct it that night right away, then she won.
Throughout the history of the Academy Awards, there have been winners who were suspect. But, since it's a popularity contest, at this point I am: Who cares?

If she's such a drunk how come there are no pics or videos of her as a hot mess? Or DWIs?? I have been hearing she's a drunk for like 15 years.
Got a marvel movie and is sober, good for her.
She deserved it more than many others have. She had a lot of friends in the business at the time.
I used to get her mixed up with Annabella Sciorra who is actually quite a bit older than Marisa. Both good actresses.
I love it when people jump off the addiction/self destruct train and pull their shi* together .
