Back in 1990, when I was working retail in West LA, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Kris Kar-trashian came by the sporting goods store I worked at with OJ in tow. (He was busy greeting fans while at the store.)

Hollywood is run by money. The stars and the various executives are not the money. Anyone who craves the kind of attention a celebrity does to make themselves a celebrity is generally not a healthy person, and doesn't make healthy decisions. Whatever feeds the gaping bottomless pit of self esteem, or whatever broken thing is happening. As for the execs, plenty of gay, not gay, men, women, they're rarely worth gossiping about. It's the talent that predominantly behave like this.
