OTS: Just got an early morning call from my best friend Nina who lives in Arizona. Told me she just got into her bathing suit, set out lawn chairs, and is waiting for the Big One to hit California this weekend. She said Malibu will be in her front yard and she can go swimming. Finally. Hope the rumors aren't true. That said, Hurricane Matthew is no joke! That monster is a Category 5 and heading for poor, poor Haiti. Mud slides will kill hundreds. Pray for our sisters and brothers in the Carribean!
Both are from MA. Go Pats! Red Sox! Celtics! Bruins! (Did I forget a sports team?)

They knocked it down a category to 4 this morning, I think it's near Cuba right now and since I'm Florida the meteorologists are overtime on tv trying to cause panic and concern for us for around Wednesday or Thuesday even though the models don't show it coming near us yet.

Three earthquakes measured 4.0 at Salton Sea with over 200 swarms.This has only occurred thre times since the nineties. Its still hot in San Diego so it earthquake weather.
I have family in the panhandle - I think weather people who want exposure choose to work in Florida or Oklahoma, The Weather Channel's farm teams.

The news shows broadcast the weather every 10 minutes here--most stations have 4 or 5 weatherpeople on staff. They don't cover the governor, the mayor, the outer cities but weather they can do.
Since we are so close to each other in distance, we would get the same report because if it hits one of us, a few hours later the other one should get hit too.
All of you CDAN friends out there, all prayers going out your way to stay safe in the hurricane and the earthquake. A major quake of the size they are predicting will affect all of California coast up to Washington State and probably Vancouver. This may be 'The October Surprise' all the pundits are predicting that will alter the presidential race! Last time it was Hurricane Sandy! Fingers, toes and eyes crossed for ya!

Sorry, Mr. No. You are very wrong. Trust me, it will be felt all the way to Vancouver and perhaps beyond. In our lifetime, we have not seen an earthquake of this magnitude. We cannot fathom the destruction. It will make 9-11 seem a minor skirmish. As a country, we won't be able to absorb the thousands of homeless. Therefore, illegals will be forced out to facilitate housing for US citizens. Prayer is greatly needed at this time. It will turn out lives (all of us) upside down for decades. A Category 5 hitting Jamaica head-on will destroy that island. My Jamaican super has been getting calls from the island all day long. He has been sobbing in his office. He said his relatives are hysterical with worry. Pray!

Makes sense - University of Oklahoma has probably the most advanced weather sciences program in the world. They have a separate building from the main campus and it is the nicest thing there outside of maybe the Gaylord-sponsored Journalism building.

Jenny Slate and Chris Evans...Did she ever divorce? Is she just separated from her husband, they were still tweeting each other a couple of months ago, I found that weird, I do not tweet my exes. And Chris can pick a better looking chick at the corner at the street while wearing a blindfold.

LOL nah she just likes to post pics from his house whenever fans discuss possibility of their break up, which just proves that she's a huge lurker. Both of them are huge drug addicts IRL so I can see the ~attraction here. Someone on tumblr made an interesting observation - Jenny follows some of his friends/family members on twitter except his ATTRACTIVE female friends like Nina Dobrev, Jessica Sczhor,etc (who regularly attend his house parties) I wonder why ;)
