It has been a very long time since this closeted A/A- list mostly movie actor from an acting family even tried to play the beard game. The most he ever does any longer is grab one of his unknown female friends and hug them when paps are around.

NBC should have never hired him in the first place. He is not compatible with the show crew. He's a pork chop at a Bar Mitzva. Never works out.
They promoted him NBC/Universal owns both shows. And they did it because they thought he could eventually take Lauer's place as host because people liked him and don't like Lauer.

I wish there were more innovative blinds. These blinds are becoming so repetitive. Everyone is "gay" and strung out on drugs.

I love seeing Jake as a gay blind. Although I can't speak from seeing him personally, I have very close friends that live in NYC and see Jake all the time. Jake is very out in his personal life apparently. His family knows and Jake doesn't really show any shame. He even bragged in his younger days about how often he slept with high powered Hollywood guys for roles. His sexuality isn't exactly a secret if you live near him in NYC, you will see him at gay friendly clubs and bars, and you will see him out with his boyfriends. I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been an outing TBH because he's very nonchalant about it apparently. He must have a very good team covering his tracks.
The whole point of the old Toothy tile blinds was that he always wanted to be out. He was always convinced otherwise to protect others. The gayest thing he ever did was go on Starbucks and apple picking dates with Taylor. I think all his fans know the story, and others don't care.
Or maybe he doesn't feel he has to publicize his sexuality...maybe he feels he can just live. Pretty cool

If he doesn't care to publicize and wants to "just live" then he would not bother to find beards for most publicized events he attends. He would just go solo at the least.

I really doubt it Bobs burgers. Everyone gave up hoping or guessing Jake would come out years ago. That ship sailed way back and he'll stay in forever. Just too insecure I guess.
But you're right Toothy'd find support. He's dug himself into a hole though. Would have some explaining to do.
