What's a WAG?

oops, forgot to say -
long-time lurker, first-time poster.
Be gentle :-D
Per Wikipedia - WAGs (or Wags) is an acronym used particularly (but by no means exclusively) by the British tabloid press to describe the Wives And Girlfriends of the England national football team. It came into common use during the 2006 World Cup, held in Germany, although it had been used occasionally before that.
Posh is the only person who comes to mind. I would 100% believe it if I heard it.
My guess would be Coleen. She's the only one I can think of who could be described as "clean cut".
Queen Elizabeth II.
I think coleen rooney or louise nurding (wife of Jamie Rednap, former Liverpool player). Posh's rep isn't exactly 'clean'. Plus the fact its in the Mirror suggests this WAG ('Wives and Girlfriends'- of sports stars, btw!)is UK based.
Most of the others are pretty skanky anyway.
The only anomoly is coleen hasn't dropped much weight to suggest a liking for the old marching powder, and are you still a WAG when your hubby is no longer playing??
I don't think Posh would be considered a Wag at this point. She has her own identity apart from her husband.
Still she is sooo thin might consider she is using the powder since supposedly she doesn't eat food.
I could picture Posh doing it before Coleen. Only because man does not live on strawberries, sushi and Diet Coke alone. You gotta have the real, white powdered variety for that kind of diet.
Adrian, in the UK she was considered the QUEEN of all WAGS. Coleen looked up to her, Jordan wanted to be her, and Cheryl is so far up her ass it's scary. Posh is a WAG, never doubt.
Wow a WAG cokehead, I think I'll go shit my pants out of sheer surprise.
I don't think I care who she is, but I DO enjoy reading the post aloud in various UK accents.
What about Elen thingy, Lampards wife, wasn't she a super clean cut fitness trainer that lost a scary amount of weight?
