Amanda Seyfried Embarrassed To Be Seen With Ryan Phillippe
This is what I don't understand. If you are going to a party with a guy and then end up going to spend the night at his place, what does it say about yourself that you want to hide and not let anyone see you. This is what Amanda Seyfried did Saturday night. She and Ryan Phillippe attended a Halloween party together. As they were leaving, Amanda attempted to hide from the paps. The next morning when she was leaving Ryan's house, she had no place to hide so admitted that she basically was dating Ryan. Why hide? If you feel like hiding maybe that is not really the right person for you.

I don't think she's necessarily embarrassed....some people try to have some amount of privacy...and it's probably a new relationship, so you want to keep it on the DL.

Well it's a step up from the McCord sister he was seen with last week. For her...not so much. She seems to have an attraction to sleaze.

I don't have a problem with it - maybe they just want it to be their business. However, I agree with chopchop. Stay home or go somewhere more discreet.

I agree with the people that think sometimes you just want to get a little something something and you're embarrassed where you are getting it from. You don't want everyone to know.

I don't understand why actors only date other actors unless they're just doing it for the publicity. I mean lawyers don't just date other lawyers and doctors don't just date other doctors, right? So what you call "walk of shame" Amanda probably calls "walk of free publicity".

It's a new relationship maybe she was just trying to create some boundaries so they can have some time to get to know each other without getting hunted by 300lbs gorillas with digital cameras.
Amanda doesn't whore herself out for photo ops. Maybe she didnt want her ex Dominic to find out from Perez Hilton she has a new fella out of respect to his feelings.
Sometimes you just want to keep things to yourself. And like the others said it was a private party not dinner at pap hot spot Katsuya.

It's the lights. Remember grandma's flash camera when you were a kid and you couldn't see for five minutes after the picture? The paps have these flood lights they turn on. You can't see. She's turned her head away but he's driving and can't.
Maybe she was hiding because unlike other celebs she enjoys her privacy and neither courts nor calls the paps ahead of time?
I consider AS a bigger star than RP these days. Is that wrong?
I agree that maybe she was just trying to have a little hook up but didn't want it to become a world wide affair that they were together.
