Engagement News
As you know, I am not big on writing about engagements because, well, they are kind of boring. But when there is some other news to go with it, then I break down. Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey have become engaged. The couple has been dating since right after Nick and Jessica split. Apparently Jessica is really sad that Nick got engaged. Huh? She is the one who dumped him, so I doubt she is that sad. If she is sad, it is probably just because she thought she was going to be the first of them to get engaged and to me that would be more of a ticked off reaction than sad.
Also engaged are LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian. No, not the fake Halloween photo, but apparently right after that, LeAnn and Eddie did get engaged. Oh, and that Shape Magazine cover party that LeAnn was supposed to attend last night. Well, she was a no show. LeAnn's people said she has the flu so could not leave the house. Uh huh. Don't think she will be posing for any more Shape covers for a very long time.

Well, now all of Leanne's interviews with media outlets make sense. Last ditch effort to win the public's good will before they get hitched. I only hope their former spouses can find the happiness these two profess to have!
I bet Jessica is sad, I'm sure she thought in some way, he was pining for her.

Good for Nick! He seems like a really decent guy. Jess is just upset because she didnt "stick it to him" by getting hitched first.
As for Cibrian and Leann, the squinty eyed couple deserve each other.. he will cheat on her -guaranteed.

Yes, Nick, you need a prenup so you don't have to give Lemonjello all Jessica's money.
Wasn't the editor of Shape caught apologizing for having her on the cover then turned around and quickly denied it? If that's the case, I can't say I blame Leann for skipping out on that party.
With Lemonjello's hosting and appearance fees, I bet she's pulling in a lot more money than Nick.
You know Jessica prolly IS sad. She'll always be an insecure bimbo who should be sorry she listened to her father.
I like old Nick Lachey. I was really rooting for him & Jessica to get back together. I'm actually surprised Nick & LemonJ haven't gotten hitched already.
Um, I wouldn't have gone to the Shape party either!?!
