Demi Lovato Enters Treatment For Everything
Yesterday Demi Lovato abruptly walked off the Jonas Brothers Tour (that thing is still going on? really?), and checked herself into rehab. Oh, treatment. Excuse me. Can't utter the word rehab because then it starts giving connotations of drug use or casual sex or both with strangers watching. Can't have that. I am glad Demi is getting help for whatever ails her. According to her people and sources who are spinning furiously away, they would like you all to know that Demi was bullied as a child and that is the reason all this occurred. If that does not pull the right heart strings they are willing to admit Demi is a cutter. In the past this was denied. I think one time a spokesperson said Demi's bracelets were too tight. Finally, if neither of those make you sympathetic, Demi also suffers from an eating disorder. Apparently the final straw leading to Demi entering treatment was a fight Demi had with a dancer on her tour. Personally I think this has been coming for awhile. It is very, very hard to live such a public life and have all these secrets you are desperately trying to hide so your Disney-ishness does not disappear and that you can continue cashing those checks.

Just admit that you have some problems and be done with it. Once you start playing games and lying, you're playing with your credibility and then no one will believe you. Why doesn't anyone care about integrity anymore?
This is just SAD! Another Disney Disaster. I was wondering if she was the answer to a blind item or two posted not too long ago. Now I think I was right.

While I understand that substance abuse is usually tied to a whole host of other destructive behaviors (and vice versa) all of these stars seeking treatment when it's really rehab and rehab when it's really should be treatment are rediculous. It makes it seem like getting help for anything is somehow shameful and therefore can't ever be really admitted. Which is sad. I hope she gets whatever help she needs.

Well, Ent...your reveal couldn't be more obvious! Thanks for that. Apparently, this blind is about a guy in Texas who subsequently died since then. Not sure if the guy had an overdose, car accident or what, but he was only 21. That would, of course, have made the sex illegal, but who's to say now that is has died. I really hope Demi is OK. I really like her and actually saw her in concert (won tickets from the radio and took my 5 year old daughter!) She was amazingly talented and has a huge voice. She also plays the piano and writes much of her own music. I am really rooting for her and hope she can get past all of this. She really needs a nice long time-out. Way too young to be facing this much pressure.
I'm glad she's finally getting help, her PR agent and whoever pulls the strings on her career should focuse on getting her better not giving out "poor little girl" cards, worrying about her reputation towards her fans.

I can attest that cocaine is the only thing that truly kills one's appetite, and all we need to do is recall Judy Garland's sad child-star life to realize just WHOM IT IS getting these young stars hooked on anything to keep them in line, working long hours and thin to begin with.

I think she was the subject of a few tweener blinds. As for the poor kid spin? Because shes too young to blame it on addiction to prescription pain killers prescribed after a back injury. As for her admitting the truth. Its not her talking at all. Shes in rehab having a really bad day.

The blind in question occurred while they were supposedly together, and there are other stories of her hooking up with other guys during that time. And of course, there are plenty of stories about why HE would want to be in a fake relationship....

I'm not American and I don't live in the US. I browse this site to keep in touch with the seedy aspects and trends of American entertainment. So, I had no idea who this Demi Lovato was before finding her name in the guesses for the March blind item.
Then, later, there was a strong hint that her life was quite shambolic. In July, Lovato called Kim Kardashian her "style icon". She wasn't even 18 at the time. When a minor publicly names the star of a sex tape as a positive influence on her life, you know that there's something really wrong going on.

jgirl, the Lovato/Jonas "relationship" was revealed around the same time that blind broke, and we all thought, fake relationship cooked up by Jonas parents!
