My first thought was Harlow, her 2nd husband they seem to say was impotent, he was the one who was an accountant for the studio & died weirdly.

haha @Jenny, Jean Harlow was my 1st thought too since she is known as "The Original Blonde Bombshell" but I thought she died too young to have 2 husbands-it turns out that she managed to squeeze in 3 Hubbys.

There have long been rumors about Grace Kelly being much less princess like in her sexuality and fidelity.
And...many rumors regarding Bern's death abound. One longstanding one regards him beating her on their wedding night and that his suicide was more of a murder, with the help of a low friend in high places. The impotency was used as a cover up, as well as a last laugh.

This very definitely isn't Harlow & Paul Bern!
Harlow was the mistress of a mobster named Abner "Longie" Zwillman. He got that nickname for the obvious reason.
She wasn't going to keep her status in Hollywood with him around, so they split, apparently amicably.
She met & married Bern, a MGM exec, but never had sex with him until their wedding night. The reason became obvious that night, Bern had a micro-penis, which was due to his body not producing testosterone during puberty & had a prosthetic to fill out his pants & even had a fake mistress to make him look like a player. Testosterone wasn't isolated until 1935, three years after Bern's death, so he couldn't have been helped during his childhood.
Harlow was so freaked out by this, she contacted Zwillman & Bern was whacked on Zwillman's orders.
The entire story was published decades ago in a book by Hank Greenspun, but I can't find the title online, as it's long out of print.
How interesting..I'd love to find an old copy of that book and read it.
The blond bombshell is Diana Dors; her second husband was Richard Dawson of Hogan's Heroes and Family Feud fame. Diana was a very kinky lady. She specialized in throwing orgies that she'd film.
