Today's Blind Items - The Reunion
Don't forget this Thursday will be Old Hollywood Day on the site. Everything but the reveals will be Old Hollywood including some of the best gossip stories from back in the day.
Production scouts have been tasked with one very important chore. It is going to be the summer and they want to be on the water. The house has to be big enough for the kids and ideally needs to have a boat dock and have a huge back yard. The wish list also includes a trampoline, a pool and hot tub and a minimum of three bedrooms for the employees of the occupants. This will be the first time this couple has publicly lived together. The couple, consisting of an actor and actress have had some ups and downs and as of late there have been more downs than ups. As is his custom he has been having sex with any woman that smiles in his direction. She had a hot and torrid fling with one of the co-stars on her very hit show. One of the reasons they signed on to do this project was to spend this time together. They wanted to see if they were put into an environment where they are forced to live and work together with their kids by their side whether their relationship will flourish or end. They have been talking about doing this for a long time. They have tried living together before but one or both of them was always working or out of the country or had other commitments. Oh, the budget for their rental house is $25K a week so I'm pretty sure they will be able to find something.

It's clear these are David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. Although it's true they have had their ups and downs, they haven't cheated on each other, as far as I know. I truly hope they go public with the return of The X-Files. Everybody in Hollywood knows they're a couple. And I'll be honest here, they make a beautiful couple.

Archie, yes, it's highly rumored. Allegedly Gill did the same "I've got to see if we have enough sexual chemistry to make our storyline believable" casting-couch-ish come-on that she did with Rod Rowlands and Annabeth Gish before Seasons 4 and 9 of the X-Files, back in the day. (Not to mention Archie's laughable "Oh, I had to quit 'The Good Wife' because playing Kalinda made me too receptive to Gillian's kisses on 'The Fall' and I want to maintain my integrity as an actress" or whatever she said. Mmm, yeah. I'm thinking the reason Archie had a hard time feigning reluctance with Gillian had less to do with Kalinda and more to do with her familiarity with Gillian's body.) Haven't heard anything about GA and Dornan, though.
I would assume the attraction to Duchovny is both about his (rumored) size and the fact that he's just as much of a sex addict as she is. There's a long-standing rumor that her eldest kid is actually his, so that would make this cohabitation concept all the more interesting. (For them, anyways. I was rather looking forward to Gillian having more lesbian adventures. Oh, well.)

Was it last year you saw them in Vancouver?
Late last summer in West Vancouver. He looks like any guy you'd see (and he's VERY thin in person), but there is no mistaking her although she was wearing a hat. I saw two children with them. One boy looked about 5 or 6 years old and I think the other one was a teen girl, but it was hard to tell as we passed them quickly.
I'm about 90% sure that they will be renting something in West Vancouver or up the Sea to Sky corridor here as that is where the billion dollar view homes are which celebs rent and they are very, very expensive. LA is quite cheap compared to these homes.

GA ain't looking to rent a house in Vancouver for the summer as she owns a house with a big property there (Vancouver Island, to be more specific). She owned the place for many years and stays there on vacations with her kids and sometimes visits it when she's shooting Hannibal. It's a big and beautiful residence and she's kind enough to let hikers pass through it.
This GA+DD thang ain't happening. LOL! People should give it a rest already. In addition to many other things, those 2 don't even live on the same continent and pretty sure neither one of them would be willing to relocate.
And I have no idea to who Enty is referring to as GA's fling, but she's not into young or married men, as she stated in this very recent interview:

Thandie, don't believe everything you read on interviews. Unfortunately for you and some others who seem to detest the idea of Duchovny and Anderson in a romantic relationship, it is happening and has been happening for a long time under your noses, whether she "lives" in the UK or not.

It's known that DD lives in NY and divides his time between it and LA.
Gillian lives solely in London, though she does own a houses in Vancouver and Sri Lanka. She lives with her 3 children and the boys' father lives not far from her. She's seen daily driving her 2 boys to school on her Land Rover.
Whether or not they hook up couple a times a year, I don't know and don't care. Willing to bet my money that's it's any port in a storm kind of thing, if they do.
And regard that affair that they allegedly had years ago - there are many rumors in the industry, but the most consistent one and the one that sounds most logical to me is that they had an affair at the very beginning, some time after GA and Jodie Foster thing, but it was short lived because Gillian fell in love with her first husband on the set and married him not too long after that.

First of all, chill. Don't let your irritation at the idea of David and Gillian together be so obvious. Secondly, you got some facts wrong. Gillian only lets herself be seen in London whenever she's working/partying there. Ther rest of the time she's somewhere else in the world, mostly with Duchovny. I won't go into paternity again because only a blind/incredibly stubbron person would still believe the official story. Speaking of believing, again sweetie don't believe what you read in interviews, most of the times it's just not true (at least personal stuff). If you want to be accurate, you should research more about Sri Lanka (evidently you ahve been misinformed). And finally, well the gay rumors are there for a reason, and it has to do with PR. Cheers:)

Yeah, as an XF fan since childhood, I loved Fox Mulder but quickly realized DD was, at the time, a massive jerk (exhibit: everything, most notably trashing the show and its writing, beefing with CC, uprooting the whole show to be closer to his unemployed wife while putting the Vancouver crew out of work, not supporting G’s much deserved equal pay, abandoning G in S8&9, his overall ego and pettiness, etc.). He broke my tween heart with that mess. But in his defense, he has matured, apologized, and humbled himself quite a bit in recent years, and seems to genuinely regret his past mistakes. And that’s my “say something nice,” because I’m still pretty wary of dude. I grudgingly like him, only because he seems to make G so happy. But if he breaks her heart again, it’s a muhfucking wrap.
ITA that he plays it way safe, and it’s frustrating as hell. But in his defense, he has a lot to lose. The way he talks, he seems to have even worse X-Files memory than Gill. LOL. His character was a fine, competent agent, ffs. But no surprise here, his emotional intelligence was never impressive. I choose to continue to be wary of the guy. He likes his money too much. The one upshot of the potential announcement I don't want is people saying that those two were not such good actors on the show after all, but at least fans would be delighted.
On to the most important thing. Hopefully the hair will be light red, shades of red, not "Boogie Woogie" red.

Hey yall, not trying to get in the middle of this difference of opinion, esp. bc I'm having a hard time understanding what seems to be in dispute--we all seem to be pro-Gillovny? If this is about alleged side pieces, maybe they have an open relationship? The long distance thing is tough, and they're both kind of slutty anyways. I could see them being cool with it. They seem pretty open-minded about sex. If there are issues in the relationship, it's more likely to be about distance than getting it in on the side. Enty is always so obsessed with DD's sex life. If he is constantly banging randos, where are all the blinds about it? The DD blinds here are always about his indecision between GA and TL.
The bright side of them spending the summer together/living together is that they could see if being in a public, committed relationship is really possible for them. And since Ashe mentioned threesomes, I volunteer as tribute.
A few things don't sit well with me about this blind. They're going to "publicly live together," like just roll up in a moving van on day one and be like "Surprise, we're suddenly together as of right now and its already serious enough to include the kids, even though we're supposedly having ups and downs and have a bad history with getting along while spending all our time together in Vancouver. That's because it's a charade so that people buy the "oh so we got together during the x-files revival" and omitting the big "we are both cheaters". Well, actually three, as Leoni has cheated maaaany times if not more than Duchovny. And don't you all find it curious not to say shocking that they will place all the kids together under one roof? If they are supposedly not dating and only good friends, why live together under one roof with all the children? It's not so difficult to put two and two together but it seems to be impossible to concieve or accept for some.

Why are people here accusing me of making this up? Why would I care? We have "star spotting" around here in Vancouver quite a bit and I sometimes share it on here. I cycled pass the 'Deadpool' set today, but didn't see any stars. Just a lot of costume people and some sort of fog machine. My spouse used to work in the industry, so I tend to know more pre-2007.

I will. The XFiles is due to start shooting in June, so I may see them around. Duchovny has a reputation here partly because of the club fuckery enty has talked about on here (there's a couple of real slimy exclusive club owners that have recordings of celebs doing strange sexual shit apparantly) and because he had a really wild nightlife, got in fights with hockey players etc. but it might be different now that he is older and not entirely single. My spouse's close friend was one of Duchovny's house cleaners when he lived here in the 90's. I won't have that connection this time around. lol. My spouse just tends to hear stories sometimes about the actors as he used to work in the industry here.

That's a great question. I think for some of those people the most important thing is to show their faux superiority ("I know things you don't know"; "It's charade, you blind fools, don't you understand?"). But the deeply-seated factor is hate for celebrities. Non-celebrities seem to think they have the right to dictate the celebrities how to live their private lives, who to date, when to come out, etc. Yes, bizarre and creepy.
You are a joke, Gilian was on stage almost everyday in LONDON (where she lives) from July 23, 2014 to Sept. 19, 2014.There's no way you could have seen her in Vancouver.
