Today's Blind Items - He Keeps This One Quiet
This A list celebrity has been married for quite some time. Does he enjoy being married? You would not enjoy being married to the woman he is married to, but he sucks it up for the sake of the kids and because he just is not a confrontational guy. Back in the day he would confront and she would scream and yell and tell him that he was nothing like her ex who she still talks about ALL the time. Of course when she was with her ex she was talking about the ex before that. Our celebrity solves most of the issues by maintaining separate residences. They have enough of them to make it happen and even in the same city which makes it nice when dealing with the kids. He also has had a series of girlfriends. He started off with a foreign born A list celebrity in her own country who had a brief fling with A list dom here in the States. Now, she is more of a name of a one hit wonder. When the wife found out about her, he made a very sneaky move. He went and purposely started an affair with a B list mostly movie actress. He even got busted by the media and there was hell to pay at home, but it also took the pressure off his foreign born lover who he continues to see. She is free to see other guys, but rarely does and instead moves from house to house of the celebrity. No one has ever seemed to find it strange that the two are always in the same city.

I'm English and I'm trying to think of an A lister here (but not in the US) who has dated an A lister from the US in the past... and I'm drawing a blank.

I just did a Google search and Chris Martin WAS ruined to have an affair with Natalie Imbruglia right around the time of the Kate Bosworth stuff. She was a big start in Australia right? Soap actress there? Now she's mainly remembered for "Torn" and dating David Schwimmer.
@Amber Kylie = a big F-ing deal in every country except the US. In the UK we've kinda adopted her.
Apparently Chris and Natalie dated in 2002 after she got divorced and I mean right after. They also worked on her album in 2009.

I also hold a grudge against Natalie (unfairly) because she married Daniel Johns (they're divorced). Remember in Buffy when she says "All I want to do is graduate high school, go to Europe, marry Christian Slater, and die!" Mine in the 90's was "All I want to do is graduate high school, go to Australia, marry Daniel Johns, and die!" :)

I'll be so delighted if Chris Martin has a quiet, happy relationship with Natalie Imbruglia. He always struck me as a quiet, nice guy, and Paltrow is such an insufferable prig.

It was a pic of Chris walking down the street with Apple, and the woman walking behind him, but not with him. People commented it wasn't weird because they are known to be friends.. I don't remember the woman. meh

Does it really matter? A lot of married couples stay married on paper until the kids are grown and agree to date other people without having the kids find out. It's not a "Hollywood" thing, it's just a thing.

They used to come in all the time to this restaurant I managed in Hollywood which is kinds of an under the radar celebrity hangout.
They came in every night for a week once

I know Kate socially and all she could do,was smile and laugh about it.
Chris wore a hoodie each time. Trying not to be seen. The papa don't really spend time on this block, which is why a lot of celebs love to party there. We all thought it was kind of douchey. No one cares up there.
Either way. Goop is a nightmare so I get it.
I kind of hope that Natalie I does have a nice relationship with CM. God knows Goop must be a little piece of hell to be involved with.
Chris and Natalie. I like it! But the kids are young and the Goopster seems to be hell-bent on becoming a lifestyle woman-who-has-it-all-type guru, so I don't see a divorce coming anytime soon. Maybe someone can whisper to her that being a single mother will win her points as the strong independent type?

I think he means "A list dom" as in those that are on the A list, the kingdom or dominion of the A list ("A list dominion") except phrased very awkwardly.
I don't get it - life is too short to spend time with someone you are not happy with, maybe even hate at this point - because if you don't think your kids are picking up on it you are a fool

I think y'all got it, but when Chris was on Howard Stern about a year ago, he really sounded sincere when he talked about how much he loved Gwyneth, but also spoke about how they hardly see each other because he's on tour. Maybe she gave him a blow job the night movie and he was feeling loving?

Gwyneth and Chris own two houses next to each other in London. They also have a loft in NYC and a house in the Hamptons (not exactly the same city, but close enough when you take helicopters).
Gwyneth has been dropping hints about their difficult marriage for YEARS. She doesn't sugarcoat it and I give her props for that. I assume at this point they have an open marriage and I think something is going on with Gwyneth and Jay Z. They seem super tight, more than friends.
