Salma's husband looks a lot older than his 40+ years of age. If someone told me he was 60 I'd believe it. On the other hand Salma looks pretty nice in that picture.

Ha! In my 2nd year of University, my roommates and I had a 9:30 club. We met up to smoke pot. That semester sucked, grades-wise.

YES!!! Thank you so much for posting the picture of Dave Grohl! I got free tickets to the 30th anniversary yesterday. Dave Grohl wasn't even featured to play. Henry Rollins was the host and the crowd went wild when he surprised us by saying Dave Grohl was playing. I got half a video of "Everlong" before a club employee yelled at me.
I love the 9:30 club. It's my favorite club of all time.

Thanks everyone! That picture is from a few years ago-he's now my 20lb baby boy. (He's an F1 Bengal Cat) He jumps on my back like that if I make the mistake of bending down anywhere near him, then proceeds to make himself comfortable. Not very comfy for me, but it sure makes for a good picture!

9:30 Rocks! Some wild nights started there, for sure!
Ditto what The_BKC said...I tend to forget how well the 9:30 is known outside of DC until you see a pic of celebrities there, or a mention like this (thanks Enty!), etc. (like when the first pic of Brad & Jen together as a couple surfaced from the Tibetan Freedom Concert after-show).
Karmen: I too am jealous!!! :) *Especially* if Henry Rollins was in town again and I missed him (darn it!)
I've seen some fantastic shows at the 9:30 over the years, but I think Henry is still one of my faves....
